Two men feel Jesus' presence, drop everything, and approach him. (The same thing every time!) There’s no, “lemme go home and grab my snacks,” “oh shoot let me get cleaned up,” or, “think he'll be back around here tomorrow?” He’s the one who can bring our healing.
Jesus asks them, “do you believe?” DO YOU BELIEVE?!
He can heal them, whatever, that’s small potatoes for Jesus. What He really wants is for these dudes to know it’s Jesus, and it’s Jesus because he is the Messiah. He’s not a magical wizard, He’s the Son of God. He’s here to take on our afflictions and make us stronger for them. Put your faith in Jesus!!
